SPIC focuses on the development of green, high-efficiency and clean energy projects and power plant services in the course of implementing the “Belt and Road” initiative, where it has boosted the international cooperation in production capacity and equipment manufacturing and led the upstream and downstream enterprises in China’s power industry to explore the international market together. As a result, SPIC’s international development capability and profitability have improved significantly with its international development landscape taking shape.

Its overseas assets amounted to RMB 38.2 billion (USD 5.5 billion), including 1,260 MW of power capacity in operation, 10.05 GW under construction and 2,980 MW under preparation. SPIC is working on the EPC for 11 power plants with a total installed capacity of 13.5 GW and is providing design, consultancy and O&M services for 35 power plants.

 

 

The controllable installed capacity overseas is up to 1,262 MW, including green field projects of 106。2 MW and M&A projects of 1,155。8 MW。 These projects are distributed in Chile, Australia, Malta, Myanmar, Japan and other countries。
